So it's done. I've completely re-done my personal site from the ground up. Whereas my previous site was an image-heavy exercise in graphic design, this one is meant to be a showcase of upcoming CSS 3.0 sexiness. I'm trying to offload most of the design to only what can be rendered in browser.
What this means to those of you viewing this site with Internet Explorer is that this site will gracefully degrade to maintain full functionality, but it will be ugly. Very ugly. Please quit using it. For those of you who use Firefox or a webkit based browser like Chrome or Safari, you'll probably like what you will be seeing. I intend to keep using this site and it's theme as my sandbox to play with all this shiny new tech.
I've also switched from Wordpress to Drupal, as all the work I've been doing recently has been 100% Drupal. I'm eating my own dogfood, and it's getting tastier and tastier as my theming skills mature.
This site will also be used for blogging. As my Twitter habit has grown, and my Facebook rants have become longer, I've decided it's about time that I start writing more in depth and coherently.
The main focus of this site will remain a showcase of things I'm working on, and a means to continue to get new and interesting work. As my interest and involvement in the web design and development community continues to grow, I'm working on transitioning to make it a full-time profession. Any help I can get in this would be greatly appreciated. If you have any work that you need help with, please use the contact page to get a hold of me.
